Somatic Practices Workshop
Details
This workshop, facilitated by Solasta “Sol” McIntyre, therapist, educator, and writer, offers an introduction to somatic psychology and practices for professionals and volunteers. It is designed for therapists, educators, faith leaders, nonprofit employees, and community organizers to help support clients who may benefit from somatic practices.
Somatic practices center on body-brain connectivity. They help manage stress and support emotional resilience, and may be particularly beneficial to neurodiverse persons and those coping with stress or trauma.
This workshop, open to all, is co-sponsored by our Society and the Central Unitarian Church of Westwood.
A $20 optional donation is requested, and registration is required.
