Sunday Gathering: Progressive Patriotism, Reclaiming the Flag

Patriotism takes many forms, ranging from pride of place to toxic nationalism. How can progressive people express respect for the US, while challenging the status quo and “America First” nationalism that has led our nation into wars of choice and domination?

Our speaker, Society President Eric Sandhusen, will explore ways to honor those who have fought and died, abroad and at home, for the ideals that are sometimes in conflict with reality.
