Masonry Repairs Volunteer Day

We welcome volunteers who would like to learn masonry skills while we repair stone walls at Paterson Great Falls National Historic Site.

Under the leadership of Curt Collier, volunteers will be trained in how to safely mix mortar and apply it to cracks throughout the restoration area. Learn how to work with mortar and apply it using professional techniques.

This activity is appropriate for participants 10 years old and up. Wear durable clothes (no shorts) and sturdy shoes.
We will provide all tools and safety equipment, plus water and snacks; you simply need to bring your lunch.
