Walk with the Ancients

On this nature walk in Fort Lee Historic Park, learn from Curt Collier about the differences among mosses, the differences between mosses and lichens, and how these ancient species evolved over 400 million years ago.

Participants will also find out what moss and lichens can teach us about how our planet works.

This short walk on paved trails, free and open to all ages, starts at the visitor center in Fort Lee Historic Park., 2018 Hudson Terrace in Fort Lee, NJ, at noon on Saturday, Nov. 21.
