Music has always been a force for justice—giving voice to struggle, inspiring resilience, and building solidarity across movements. Join us for a moving Platform experience with Dr. Lauren Eldridge Stewart, assistant professor of ethnomusicology at Washington University.

Dr. Stewart will guide us through the history of music within Black cultural and labor movements, tracing how songs of resilience and resistance have carried communities forward. Her scholarship will illustrate the ways music continues to shape our collective pursuit of dignity, freedom, and justice.

Born in the heart of Kansas City and now thriving in the vibrant music scene of St. Louis, REVÉ is a singer-songwriter whose genre-blending sound fuses jazz, R&B, gospel, and the chill vibes of lo-fi. Her debut EP, "12:12", released in April 2024, is available on all major streaming platforms, showcasing her ability to blend genres and evoke deep emotion through her music. As she continues to push musical boundaries, REVÉ delivers a sound that is as eclectic as it is unforgettable.
