Tornados, Trees and Restoration in Forest Park

“Forest Park is defined by its trees and the shade and beauty they provide for visitors,” so said James S. McDonnell III, a decade ago, when he and his wife, Elizabeth, made a major gift to Forest Park Forever.

Roman Fox, director of land management at Forest Park Forever, will speak on “Tornadoes, Trees and the Restoration in Forest Park.” Roman leads a team of horticulturists, arborists, and nature reserve technicians in the stewardship of nearly 700 acres of parkland, with a strong focus on tree planting, landscape stewardship, project planning, and collaborative communication.
