Ethics Intelligence London
Conversations on power, politics, psychology and technology
Ethics Intelligence London is a small, in-person discussion group focused on applied ethics in public and professional life.
The core theme is power: how it operates inside institutions, how it shapes policy, how it influences markets, and how it affects individual agency. Technology, including AI, is examined within that wider political and organisational landscape.
A central strand of the conversations addresses the psychological impact of systems that influence human judgement. This includes the ethical use of AI in advisory, clinical and therapeutic settings, and the responsibilities that arise when technology enters domains traditionally grounded in human trust.
Themes may include:
– Power and responsibility in institutional decision-making
– AI governance and political accountability
– Psychological influence in human–machine interaction
– Therapeutic and coaching use of AI: boundaries and duty of care
– Authority, consent and intellectual property in model training
– Leadership, moral pressure and public trust
Each meeting centres on one clearly framed ethical question. The format supports sustained, rigorous exchange among people who are comfortable examining complexity without slogans.
Format:
– 8-10 participants
– 90 minutes
– Brief opening framing followed by moderated discussion
– Hosted in London
Participants are typically senior professionals, founders, advisers, academics and practitioners who engage with power structures, technology and human behaviour in their work.
If you are shaping decisions that carry institutional or psychological consequences, you are welcome to join the conversation.
