Details

Pocha is Korean pub food, an unusual specialty I have not yet tried. Let's explore it together. Expect spicy, starchy, & fried stuff, heavy on pork, seafood, rice cakes, & melted cheese, for around $42/pp.

Some likely items, depending on the # of participants:

Rice cake & sausage skewers
Fried jokbal - pig feet meat w/scallion salad
Spicy kimchi pancake
Korean style egg rolls w/cheese
Fried oysters
Rosepink ddukbokki - rice cakes in pink sauce w/bacon & fishcake
Spicy stir-fried baby octopus or squid w/vegetables
Bacon kimchi fried rice
Spicy pork baby back ribs w/udon & cheese *BIG SIZE*

Please be considerate with your RSVP and change to No promptly if not coming. We do keep track of no-shows, and three will get you removed from the group. Also, please bring cash and some small bills: makes everyone's lives easier.

Transit: 7 train to Main Street Flushing, Q13 bus towards Fort Totten or Q28 towards Bay Terrace/Bell Blvd, get out at Northern Blvd & 159th St, walk one block. (Yes, it's far!) Or take the LIRR to Broadway station.
