Eclectic American RW feast in Brooklyn Heights
Details
I've been to Henry's End for their delicious New American food many times since the late 80s, but rarely in recent years as they've gotten pricey, with entrees in the thirties. So the $45 three-course Restaurant Week menu is a relative steal. Expect around $65/pp w/tax, tip, & fee, including a couple of supplemental bumps. (We will only be a small group this time, so you may want to consider booking and going separately with others.)
The intended menu:
2x Pistachio crusted goat cheese salad w/roasted beets & citrus vinaigrette
2x Ozark BBQ ribs
2x New Orleans turtle soup OR 2x Pappardelle w/buffalo ragu
Grilled Scottish salmon w/3 mustards, cream, & horseradish
Veal Limonese
Pan roasted branzini w/white beans, escarole, & tomato confit
Chicken schnitzel w/porcini gravy, mashed potatoes, & dill
Duck w/pomegranate sauce
Venison bourguignon
Brussel sprouts w/bacon
AND everyone gets a dessert:
Persian lime pie (recommended)
Flourless chocolate hazelnut cake
Warm apple cobbler w/whipped cream
Mud pie

Please be responsible with your RSVP and change to No ASAP if not coming, so as not to inconvenience the restaurant or other diners. We do keep track of no-shows, and three will get you removed from the group. Also, please bring cash and some small bills; makes everyone's lives easier.
Transit: 2 or 3 to Clark Street or A or C to High Street both are about 2 short blocks away. At High St, get out at Cranberry Street exit & walk through the little courtyard to Henry. Also walkable from Borough Hall.
