We haven't shared this cuisine in nearly two years, so let's try Yemenat, highly recommended by Glenn for months, & newly installed in the NYT NYC Top 100. Allow ~$40-45/pp for food, tax, tip, & fee; could be less.
The intended menu:
Shafoot - fermented flatbread w/herbed buttermilk sauce
Kebdah - spiced lamb liver stir-fried w/fresh local vegetables
Fahsoolia Nashif - charred, spiced kidney beans
Saltah - hearty stew of ground beef & local veg
Chicken Aqdah - seared shredded chicken sauteed w/local veg
Lamb Haneeth - braised lamb over Hadrami rice
Muva Fish - charred butterflied branzino
Yemeni sundae - cardamom gelato over a crumble, topped w/caramel & almonds
Areeka - minced rashoosh bread & dates, topped with qishta cream & honey
