Intergenerational Silver Sapphics!

Silver Sapphics is a drop-in group created to offer a safe, affirming, and inclusive space for Lesbian, Bi, Queer, Trans and Non-Binary older women. Whether you’re looking for community, conversation, or simply some company, this group is here for you.

However, the Silver Sapphics would like to open this Saturday meeting up for sapphics of all ages! This is such an important time to build community across generations so we hope to make this a monthly get together.

Sapphic is a broad, umbrella term that typically describes women, nonbinary people, and feminine-aligned individuals who experience attraction to other women or femmes. The word is inspired by the ancient Greek poet Sappho, who wrote emotional and romantic poetry about women from the island of Lesbos.

Parking: There is street parking around Farnsworth House or there is a parking lot further down on Centre St (737 Centre St, Boston, MA 02130) and then an 8 minute walk to Farnsworth House from there.

Transit: There is a 32/39 bus stop right outside the venue or it's a 9 minute walk from the Forest Hills station.
