The Pokémon Trading Card Game: Mega Evolution set introduces the powerful mechanic of Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, which feature increased HP and devastating attacks but grant three Prize cards when Knocked Out. This expansion, starting a new block of cards with over 180 cards total, features nearly a dozen Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, new art styles for ultra rare cards including Item, Stadium, and Pokémon Tool cards, and a focus on strategy surrounding the higher risk/reward of these powerful Pokemon.
