Dinner Meeting and Presentation with EWEB!

Join us for our May dinner meeting, featuring a special presentation from EWEB about some of their upcoming projects!

The Eugene Water & Electric Board (EWEB) is Oregon's largest customer-owned utility. Founded in 1911, EWEB's service territory covers 236 square miles with a population of more than 200,000 people. Facing aging infrastructure and the threat of a Cascadia Subduction Zone earthquake, EWEB is working to modernize its water system. Several critical projects have been completed, and the utility is now working on the most impactful project to date: establishing a new water treatment plan on the Willamette River. Join us to learn more about the water system and what you can do to prepare for emergencies at home. The presenter will be Claire Wray, Communications Specialist.
