Site Tour In River Road
Details
Join the River Road Garden and Resilience Network for an afternoon of
visiting several well established gardens and projects in the works on and
near Hawthorne, Mayfair and Mariau
We will visit 5 properties with gardens and native plantings. These are both established gardens and works in progress.
One location is a front yard living room.
Saturday, May 30, Meet at 1 PM at the corner of Hawthorn and Mayfair.
South River Road Neighborhood.
Bring some water, bring a snack to share if you like.
We will do more mix and mingle at the final location
Feel free to invite anyone to join us. Bikes are good, most of the sites
are within walking distance of each other. Bikes can be left in a safe place.
We will also hear about the Hawthorne/Hardy Streets Block Party. A great
example of neighbors connecting for a fun time.
We will finish with a visit to a wonderful front yard living room with yard furniture,
trellises, raised beds, pavers, cat - all out front with a view of the street.
Feel free to bring a snack for mix and mingle.
