Group to promote awareness of jazz related swing dancing and lindy hop events in Eugene and Springfield, Oregon. The events are hosted by Track Town Swing and other local venues and band leaders.

Beginning Lindy Hop Series Class
The Vets Building, 1626 Willamette St, Eugene, OR, USTuesday Nights Starting September 8th at 7 pm: Beginning Lindy Hop
This 4-week class is intended for those with no prior dance experience or dancers wanting to become reacquainted with basics of lindy hop from footwork to swing outs.
The focus of this class will be on establishing our swing dance vocabulary, building comfort with fundamental social dancing skills, and dancing to lots of music.
No partner required. We will be rotating partners in this class.
Class registration includes admission to the Tuesday Night Swing Dance that begins right after class at 8pm!Class Venue is Veterans Memorial Building Upstairs Ballroom:1626 Willamette St, Eugene, OR 97401.
Class Dates are September 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th
4 Week Class registration is $55 online or $65 at the door.

Live Music Swing Dance
The Vets Building, 1626 Willamette St, Eugene, OR, USPlease join us for our First Live Music Swing Dance Party of the season, featuring live music from Stomp Off Party!
Stomp Off Party swings the standards with depth & vibrancy, bringing together voices from all corners of the Eugene jazz community (and beyond!). Polyphonic and multigenerational, Stomp Off Party is collaboration at its best, digging into the American Songbook from all directions, delivering riffs and rhythms tuned expressly for dancing.
Evening Dance:7:00 pm - 8: 00 pm: Beginner Swing Dance Lesson from Track Town Swing
8:00 pm - 10:30pm: Swing Dance Party with Stomp Off Party
Admission: $15 online or $20 at the door.
