Coming Home to Ourselves Daily Practices

Details
When busy, I can become so externally focused that I don’t even know what I want. My default is to focus externally - on what others want or need from me. I must deliberately override my focus to listen to my internal experience. It doesn’t matter if it is personal or professional, urgent or time-sensitive, we have been conditioned to tend to others. If our value comes from getting things done, we habitually orient toward others even at our own expense.
Like you, I’ve found many ways to center and recenter myself. I’ve accepted that this is needed for me to honor my internal wisdom and needs. So, what calls you to leave yourself, your center?? How do you recognize these impulses? (Thoughts, sensations in your body, feelings) what are you learning about centering yourself?
