Hike Along Amazon Creek from Checkermallow Access
Details
Get outside and get into shape this spring with some hiking with weight. This is a hike along the Amazon Creek trail near Royal and Greenhill. It travels along the canal that goes into Fern Ridge Reservoir. We often see bald eagles, blue herons, beavers, and numerous native plant species.
It’s flat and mostly grass or dirt trail, so it might be good to wear pants depending on the length of the grass. Watch for ticks afterwards.
Location: meet at Checkermallow Access parking lot (East of Green Hill off Royal).
