Drop Bear Brewery - Support Vegan Chef Challenge And Hang wit da cooool kids

Drop Bear Brewery is such a cool business for several reasons, not the least of which is that they already have so many vegan dishes. Now they are taking it up a notch by participating in the Vegan Chef Challenge. Yes, that Challenge that I have been writing about in the newsletter for the last few months. This means that Drop Bear will be creating a whole new vegan dish for the challenge!

Of course, you can go to any of the participating restaurants in February. You don't have to join us on the 22nd. However, joining us on the 22nd is a way to show support for the Challenge AND hang out with some really neat people.

FYI #2: Why 3:00? When we have events at restaurants, I want them to shine. So I ask restaurants if there is a time that would be best for them for a large group to show up. If 3:00 seems awkward, try this for timing your meals: Have a lovely Sunday brunch (a meal between breakfast and lunch) and then join us for this dunch (a meal between lunch and dinner). :-)

ORDERING
Part of the Vegan Chef Challenge is for a restaurant to create one or more new dishes for the Challenge. For this event, you do not have to pick from the Challenge menu if you do not want to. However, please remember that while we happily welcome people of all diets, all Eugene Veggies events are vegan. Participation in this event means that you agree to order only vegan food.

RSVPing
Note that I am coordinating this event with the owner of Drop Bear Brewery. They will be working to have enough supplies and staff on hand based on our RSVP count. So if you have an RSVP a few days before the event, please honor your RSVP. The exception is if you are sick of course. :-)

MORE INFORMATION
I will be sending out an email a day before the event with more information such as how to find our group, parking and how to vote in the Challenge. If meetup fails to send that message, please let me know so I can try it again.
