What we're about
EuroBoston - The Boston European Social Network (a non-profit organization), is a group dedicated to gathering professionals over the age of 30 who are of European origin, or non-Europeans who have lived or studied across the pond for more than one consecutive year who wish to get together and relive some of the culture and their memories. Most events will be free of charge, but we ask that you support the venue.
All questions MUST be answered on your application, and a photo needs to be part of your profile as well, no exceptions. Please take note that this is no fly-by-night group you will sign up for and never show up. You need to attend an event within three months or you will be removed from the group, pointe finale!
We are trying to build a community here. Events only related to Europe will be on the calendar. This means we will host events such as pic-nics, foreign films, bocci, coffee and festivals. The hope is that we become a strong, culturally savvy community where we learn more about Europe, it's traditions and history. Oh, and don't forget food and drink, very important. Hopefully, over time, many of you will host an event in your backyard, for a film, or at your countries festival.
Our mantra is "work to live, not live to work." Events will include: Happy Hour; foreign film screenings; or to celebrate a countries fête. Venues will be at someone's home, a park or festival, or a private venue.
Although we are called EuroBoston, many events will be throughout the area, including Rhode Island. So join us with your baguette, vino, bier, queso, or ouzo, and let's live life the European way.
