This group is for organizing social events and get-togethers among the international expat community in Brussels, Belgium! This could be a great opportunity to enlarge your circle of friends and/or your professional network of contacts in this multicultural and cosmopolitan city, especially if you have arrived here recently and still cannot find your way around the city very well yet.

Looking to meet new people and expand your social circle in Brussels, as well as your network of professional contacts? Join us every Friday evening from 18:30 at Brasserie "Le 1898", right beside the Schuman Roundabout, for a fun, relaxed night of food, drinks, conversations, and great vibes!

The meetup event will be structured in roughly the following three main phases:

👉 6:30 - 7:30 pm : mostly for people wanting to have dinner together at the Brasserie, thanks to its extensive selection of dishes in its food menu: https://menu.dinnertogether.io/en/restaurant/le-1898/
.
👉 7:30 - 10 pm : normal socializing, conversations and casual drinking around the various tables! (with only light background music)
.
👉 10 pm - as late as people want : more party atmosphere with louder music, if participants are willing to start dancing a bit of course! Otherwise, there will always be plenty of space outdoors in front of the Brasserie for people who prefer a quiet environment to continue their conversations. 😊

✅ Want to play your own Spotify playlist? Go for it—we have full flexibility with the music!
✅ No worries about noise—we’re in an area surrounded by daytime offices, so we can enjoy ourselves freely
✅ Want to keep the night going? After the meetup, we often continue as a group to explore nightlife hotspots in the city center! (by taking the straight metro line from the Schuman station just next to the meetup venue)
