"The fusion of waltz", cross-step waltz is a 20th century social dance in a slow waltz tempo, with a lot of elegance and "flow".

クロス・ステップ・ワルツは、1910年代にアメリカで登場したワルツで、特徴的な 「クロス・ステップ 」を中心に、さまざまなダンス・スタイルのフィギュアを取り入れ、経験豊富なダンサーには即興の余地もある一方、全くの初心者にも適した非常に親しみやすいベーシック・ステップとなっている。
Cross-step waltz appeared in the 1910s in the USA, characterized primarily by the signature "cross-step", it incorporates figures from a variety of different dance styles as well as a lot of room for improvisation for experienced dancers, while offering a very approachable basic step, suitable even to complete beginners.

初心者のために、クロスステップ・ワルツの基本的なステップといくつかの簡単な図形を練習し、公開運動では即興演奏の可能性を探ります。
We'll go through the basic step and some of the simpler figures of cross-step waltz for beginners, and then explore the improvisation possibilities in open practice.
