We are exclusively the only Melbourne based European-Australian social networking and friendship group aged in our 30s & 40s of various European backgrounds which include Italian, Greek, Maltese, Spanish, French, German, English, Irish Scottish ect..)

The unique feature of this meetup is we offer a friendly, relaxed and casual settling creating the perfect, environment allowing people (small group of 10 - 15 people max) to socialise and mingle.

Our social meetups are held weekly typically on Friday late afternoons-evenings. Saturday & Sunday afternoons and evenings and or on public holidays.

We meet at cafes, pub bistros, restaurants, outdoor rooftop bars, beer gardens, and lounge bars in the inner city areas ie: Fitzroy-Carlton- Melbourne CBD- South Yarra, Moonee Ponds ect. We also meet at parks/gardens, lakesides and beachfronts next to cafes so you can grab a coffee a drinks or food.

1. Meet the age criteria (30s & 40s)

2. You are a Melbourne local resident (no travellers please)

3. Have a clear, visible, respectful, recent photo of yourself on your meetup profile. Photo presentation is everything, so display the best version of yourself.

4. You RSVP if you are attending a social meetup. I get it, things happen in life and your plans change. Please be courteous to change your RSVP if you are no longer able to make it.

No shows to a social meetup without changing your RSVP status or not messaging the organiser beforehand is rude and will result in being removed from this group. It doesn't take much to be courteous!

5. Attendance Policy & Making Connections
To get the most out of this meetup and to form connections and friendships with those of this meetup, REGULAR ATTENDANCE is required.

Regular attendance enables you to get to know other members and ultimately form new connections and friendships. This is how you get to know people, there is no other way.

Swapping phone numbers, facebook / Instagram details with someone you had a great conversation at the meetup with is totally fine and acceptable. Please ask kindly and respectfully.

If you are not comfortable to give contact details you may like to consider using the meetup messaging system if you wish to communicate with someone you have met at a meetup. Remember be kind, polite and respectful! 😉

We are NOT a dating club or online chat group. Although romantic relationships may develop between consenting members of thos group but we are essentially a social friendship group.

We meet in the real physical world, with real people forming real connections.

6. Dress Attire & presentation
It's simple, dress for the occasion. Generally, when attending at social meetup please ensure you are dressed appropriately ie: with neat trendy casual artire. Again, dress presentation is everything, so present the best version of yourself.

7. Safety & getting to meetup location/ venue
For your safety, it is advisable you do not meet with strangers/people you have never met from this meetup outside of the official schedulled social meetups.

The organiser of this meetup will not accept any liability nor be responsible for any loss, damage, injury/accidents for your personal belongings/property at social meetups.

Attending this group's meetups you are taking responsibility for your own, safety and self-awareness.

Do not offer/accept a lift, ride or carpool with anyone you don’t know or you don’t feel comfortable with.

Please use your own transport or public transport, taxis/ride share services like uber to get to and from a venue.

8. Expected Behaviour.
We are all adults so be friendly, welcoming, engaging, polite and respectful and most of all be social! People that don't make the effort or don't contribute is really boring!

Please be mindfull and respectfull of boundaries with other people at the meetup. For example, be conscious of personal space boundaries and do not ask personal / intrusive questions.

Any unwelcomed behaviour being of ; disrespectful, rude, aggressive, offensive, condescending, discriminatory in nature or any foul language, any selling of pyramid schemes, illegal/dodgy products/services, forcing of ideas/ opinions/beliefs, will NOT be tolerated and will result in being removed from this meetup group. SO, be nice, be honest, respectful and decent, its really easy 😀

9. COVID19/Colds/Flu
If you're feeling unwell on the day/evening of a meetup even with slightest of cold/flu symptoms OR you test positive even with the slightest of symptoms or nine, you're sick with Covid-19/Cold/flu other respiratory infections OR you are a confirmed close contact of someone with Covid-19, PLEASE DO NOT attend. Its no brainer just be courteous.
