Fundraising Raffle:
Hey everyone! We are doing a raffle again to raise money to cover the cost of the Meetup membership. It's $300 for the year to keep it running, but between extra donations from last year and this year so far, we only need $200!

This year we are raffling off a copy of Wyrmspan, which is the successor to Wingspan but with dragons instead of birds. Every $15 donated will get you a raffle ticket, and on September 28th we will be picking a winner at random at the start of the meetup. If you can't make it that day, we'll hold onto the game until the next time we see you.

You can donate through Meetup or to Mike in person at an event. If you've already donated this year I'll make sure it counts toward the raffle.

Join us at Sketchbook Brewing Company in Evanston for our Sunday Board Game Meetup!

We meet most Sunday at Sketchbook. Just look for the group in the back that has stacks of boards games to pick from! We welcome people of all skill levels to come and play, as we always teach new games to people that have not played them before.

Feel free to bring your own games that you want to teach and are familiar with. A typical event starts with talking about what we brought that week, and then we break out into smaller groups to play games based on player count and what everyone is interested in. It's common to have 2 or 3 games going at once, and fitting in a second or third game before the event ends at 4pm. Please RSVP and be on time so that we can include you at the start of the first game, and buy a drink to support the venue!
