Evanston Chess Club

Chess at the Levy Center every Wednesday for 18 and older. We are now a program of the City of Evanston, so see our group description for the annual fee (first visit is free to see if you like it). We are in the Elm room. Chess sets supplied, bring a clock if you like to use one. All levels are welcome, slow games or blitz, but you should know how to move the pieces and how to checkmate. Free parking, and a bus route stops at the Levy Center. The third Wednesday of each month is an optional round-robin blitz tournament with inconsequential (usually edible) prizes.
