Source Tree and Koala - Jeff McNear's web development tools
Details
Thank you to Carson R. Wilson from Code-Read for helping us sort through the daunting array of web measurement units at our March meeting.
Join us Tuesday, April 11, 7:30PM for "Source Tree and Koala - Jeff McNear's web development tools."
SourceTree harnesses the power of Git and Hg in an online application. Koala is a GUI application that helps developers use Less, Sass, Compass and CoffeeScript more efficiently. Jeff will show us real life examples of ways he is using these development tools. Additionally, Jeff will open his toolbox and share all his favorite development tools.
Not so new location... MetaMedia is located inside the McGaw YMCA, 1000 Grove Street, Evanston, IL 60201. It's 2 blocks from the Davis Street Purple Line El stop. There is bike and street parking. (The parking lots in front of and in back of the Y are for members only.)
Please enter through the door marked MetaMedia on Maple Avenue. This door will be open so you do not have to go through the lobby of the YMCA where members line up to get their membership cards scanned. The MetaMedia entrance is the first door south of the corner at Maple and Grove Avenue. It is prominently painted with a purple sign that says "MetaMedia.
Jeff McNear is co-organizer of the Chicago Web Professionals and owner of Plasterdog Web Design, a design/development consultancy in Evanston. Jeff creates custom and securely structured websites for clients who maintain, edit, modify and extend their own online presence.
