Email Moderation (better late than never)

Ok E-Town Social Networkers,

After several (seriously) people asking me, "Hey Terry, what up with________?"

I have decided that the best possible thing for me to do is to change a setting in our email/mailing list preferences.

Now you still have the ability to email other members of the group BUT you should exercise responsibility and...restrainst BECAUSE I have now set us up to be moderated.

This simply means that you will send a message as usual (well not really as usual since as usual is sometimes just this side of crazy gibberish) and then if it's decipherable and friendly and cogent, I'll pass it along.

By this standard, the initial email for "Cookie-Gate 2007" would have went through fine. I love cookie dough!

If it isn't...well then, that email shall dwell out in limbo with all of it's soon to follow, unintelligible and quirky (I'm being nice) electronic cousins.

I have also enabled the Message Board. Use it to start discussions if you like but keep it civil. The beauty of the message board is that folks have to go to them of their own free will. There is no email assault on the senses to worry about from folks who quite frankly should be old enough to know the difference.

Many of you know me and I believe that you know me to be a fun loving and outgoing guy, handsome, talented, modest and almost legendary guy's guy.

In addition to these qualities, I have a LOT ok (ok some) patience. I'm not doing this to be the email police. I am doing this because many of you DON'T know me and if I were new here and I had to judge this group by what crash landed in my inbox sometimes, I'd think twice about showing up anyplace where booze was involved.

Ok, Thanks for your time folks and I hope to see ALL OF YOU (ok...that's impossible but I love a party) on Friday at 7:00pm at the Rythm Room.

Terry
