Howdy all,
Good news, everyone! We have a submission. It's mine. The bad news? It's three days late. But we got one!
And special announcement A one off location change!!!!
Our Writers' Group fellow Ben Thomas has graciously volunteered his own space. Address listed below. There will be stairs. If anyone has trouble navigating stairs, please let me know (oatmantrent@gmail.com)
We'll pivot to the old location. Or we'll find you a sherpa. Whichever one's easier.
The Long Development Group mission blurb: to provide feedback and critique of a longer, more developed piece of 10,000 to 30,000 words. The goal of this group is to analyze and give more overview-type feedback (e.g., plot, premise, structure, consistent voice, etc.)
Authors are encouraged to write a full summary of their submissions/project’s plot, this can be abstracted bullet points if needed.
Feel free to include tropes, inspirations, or the ontological motivations for the why this story exists.
Please include all questions that you would like to be answered. What do you want us to read for? What do you think is a particular weakness of the work, are you trying to develop a subplot, any motifs, things like that.
