Everything You Wanted To Know from a Non-Fiction Editor: Kelly Bale, Sourcebooks

Sunday, January 15, 2012, Location Wilmette Library (youth activities room) 1242 Wilmette Avenue, Wilmette, IL,[masked]

Have you ever wondered how to submit to non-fiction book markets?  Do you want to know what non-fiction editors look for in submissions?  Are you curious what trends are happening in non-fiction books - and ebooks?  Then look no further!

Kelly Bale, Non-Fiction Editor with Sourcebooks, is presenting on non-fiction markets on Sunday, January 15th, from 1:00 to 5:00 P.M.  She will take questions about how to submit, ideas for what to submit and what editors are looking for, and will take questions from the audience on all aspects of the non-fiction market.

Sourcebooks is an independent publisher based right here in Illinois, in Naperville with offices in New York and Connecticut.  Founded in 1987, they publish a wide range of digital and traditional books in both non-fiction and fiction markets.  You can read more about them on their website, here.

If you have wanted to find a home for your non-fiction book, be it memoir, biography history, or something else, consider coming to Kelly's workshop.  You'll be glad you did.  Before you come, check out their writer's guidelines so you know what to ask about - Sourcebooks also accepts fiction, so if that's your bailiwick, don't hesitate to bring your questions for Kelly.

We are proud to bring you the speakers you have been asking for.
