Spring is here! Grab the boots -- we're goin' outside!
Let's venture westward to Jackson Falls in the Shawnee National Forest. In addition to the picturesque waterfall, expect towering sandstone bluffs, babbling creeks, and all the fresh greenery that makes spring my favorite season!

We'll hike a clockwise loop on Trail #49.

  • Difficulty: Moderate
  • Length: 4 to 6 miles

## WHAT TO BRING

  • Sturdy shoes for hiking
  • Day Bag
  • Water (for drinking) and snacks
  • Packed lunch (in your day bag)
  • Sunscreen and Bug spray
  • Walking stick or hiking poles (optional)
  • Clean shoes for the car ride (leave in the car)

## NOTES

  • Take care around the bluffs. They may be slick.
