Purdue@WestGate - Open Co-working / Free Lunch

Join Purdue@WestGate at the WestGate Academy co-working space. Make an innovation day of it.

We'll be opening the co-work space for an entire day of free co-working AND including lunch courtesy of Smithville Fiber, our internet provider.

We will be showing off our new broadband connectivity provided by Smithville. Recognized nationally as a Top 100 broadband provider, Smithville Fiber is built from the ground up by Hoosiers, for Hoosiers. An award-winning communications technology company, Smithville had modest beginnings nearly a century ago as an Indiana telecommunications company and today is making Jasper and Bloomington into gigabit cities.

This is a chance for innovators from all reaches of the region to come together and enjoy great connectivity - interpersonal and internet.

At day's end we'll adjourn to hear Mike Dodd - Managing Director of the Institute for Global Security and Defense Innovation, discuss this initiative. (Be sure and register at that event's page)
