D-Day Wine Tasting: French and American wines, side by side

In this workshop facilitated by Guillaume Holtzmann, a French native certified sommelier and wine importer, you will learn the basics of wine tasting and compare French wines to American wines.

Anyone 21+ with an interest in wine is welcome.

The class may be simultaneously in French and English
Whether you're fluent in French, still learning or do not speak French, this workshop is a fun and interactive way to learn about wine and express yourself!

The class will include:

• Tasting of two French wines and two American Wines, side by side.
• Use of a professional tasting sheet
• Share impressions and discuss notes
• Introduction to basic viticulture and wine making
• Wine categorization and grading
• Flavor profile recognition

$30 for members of the Alliance française/$35 for non members
