About us
Welcome to Kyoto Tea & Culture Encounters Group! (previously called Mandaracha Tea House Events)
This group is dedicated to everyone interested to attend:
- Tea events and walks
- Zen discussion sessions
- Traditional music / concerts / performances (Shamisen, Biwa, Koto, Orin, Shakuhachi)
- Artistic events, workshops and exhibitions
We already have hosted classical music, traditional Japanese music (koto/shamisen), traditional Chinese music (pipa and erhu), celtic music and also Rakugo.
Each event is the opportunity to appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and the depth of Japanese culture, and to meet like minded souls.
