What we’re about
* Members: We welcome everyone who is single, married, divorced, widowed, etc. This is not a dating site, but a great way to meet new people and make new friends. We vision our members coming from all backgrounds and stages in life who want to enjoy life and activities. This group will bring you face-to-face to meet and interact with your extended community while having fun at the same time.
* Founders Bio: Maureen and Rich enjoy meeting new people and have a passion for bringing people together to enjoy all life has to offer. We both discovered meetup and met each other at an event. We both belong to several wonderful groups and love hosting events. We decided to expand our social circles by creating our own meetup group that encompasses a larger geographical area and organizes unique events that range from mild to wild.
* Geographical Area: The greater New England Area (CT, MA, ME, NH, RI, VT). We will host events in your neck of the woods as well as other areas of New England and beyond. We moved from CT to MA. No worries we will continue to host events throughout New England.
*Types of Events: We will organize unique events along with the tried and true popular events. You want to try something new or cross something off your bucket list, keep your membership current and your eyes open for all the events we post. The following is a small sample of a types of events to expect: Pot Luck socials, themed parties, holiday celebrations, dancing / live-music, bucket-list checking activities, BBQs, Sporting events (Patriots Fans, and others), beer / wine tastings, brewery tours, archery, kayaking, camping, bonfires, hiking, last minute things to do, etc...
*Ideas: We are always open to ideas or suggestions for events you might like to see us host. If you would like to organize an event with "Events Gone Wild" please send us a private message.
*Event Planning: We are event specialists. We can help you plan, organize, and implement your own special event. If you are interested please send us a private message and we can discuss how we may be able to help you. * Fees: Membership FREE until July 1, 2016. Starting 7/1/2016 membership is $5 / year . Certain events may require additional fees; these fees shall be listed on the event page.
* Waiver: By joining this meetup group, you agree to waive all liability and hold the site, the founders, organizers, and other members harmless for anything that may occur in connection with or a result of any activity, event, interaction, or introduction. You are required to take personal responsibility for your actions and obey all state and federal laws and rules of any establishment. Membership does not guaranty anything other than the ability to RSVP and attend events posted by this group.

Trattoria Romana South – Fine Italian Restaurant in Wakefield, RI
Details - Please pay attention to the last two sentences in the details. Read the rules of intimate dining before you RSVP. This group is for restaurant dining only.
Rules: Each person attending (if their name is selected from a hat) must host a future intimate dining event at a restaurant of their choice. All intimate dining events shall be limited to 4 to 10 people as determined by the host. This event is limited to 6 people. During each event, attendees (excluding the host) shall put their name in a bowl, hat, etc. and the host will pick the name of the next host. The chosen host will select the date, time, location, and number of attendees permitted for the next event and post the event on Events Gone Wild within a one month time period. Those who are not organizers shall contact Rich or Maureen and let them know they will be hosting an intimate dining event and they will make you an organizer for your event. No-shows or cancellations within 72 hours (three days) other than extreme emergencies will be excluded from any future intimate dining events. All attendees must be a member of Events Gone Wild.
