The Annual Halloween Gala 2026 is one of the Montreal Art Center and Museum’s largest events of the year, transforming the entire museum into an immersive world of eerie discoveries, curious encounters, live performances, and unexpected surprises.
There is something uniquely thrilling about celebrating Halloween inside a Montreal museum filled with art, winding galleries, atmospheric rooms, and nearly 150 years of history.
For one night, the Montreal Art Center and Museum becomes a mysterious place to explore. Wander through the building at your own pace as music drifts from room to room and discover tarot readers, astrologers, artists, performers, themed desserts, Halloween-inspired jewelry, and curious finds tucked throughout the museum.

Meet Brigidraws, a Montreal-based artist inspired by Franco-Belgian comics, Saturday morning cartoons, and Japanese animation.
At her little portrait booth, guests can have a charming mini portrait created on the spot in under five minutes—a wonderfully unusual keepsake from your Halloween night at the museum.

Among the evening’s discoveries, you’ll also find a booth featuring spooky and Halloween-inspired jewelry and accessories—perfect for those drawn to something a little darker, stranger, or more mysterious.
### 🎶 Live Music Throughout the Museum
Music will drift through the Montreal Art Center and Museum throughout the Gala, with performances unfolding across the evening and adding a soundtrack to your exploration.
Among this year’s featured performers is Selina Boland, a multifaceted Canadian singer-songwriter whose music draws from Newfoundland folk traditions, ’60s rock, alternative music, pop, and electronic influences.
Performing professionally since 2011, Selina has toured throughout Canada, the United States, Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark, Scotland, Ireland, Mexico, and the United Kingdom. With six albums to her name, she released Take My Heart and Run in 2025, followed by her single LINES in June 2026. Her work has received multiple MusicNL nominations, including recognition in the Alternative Artist of the Year category.
Also joining the evening is The Outset, a Montreal cover band featuring Peter Remy, Damaris, and Aleksa. Three distinctive personalities and musical backgrounds come together to create an energetic blend of pop, funk, and jazz.
