You can do two dives.

(Davies Beach Boat Launch & Swim Area)

We're going back! If you did this dive before, you know that it needs it!

Help us clean up under the swim areas and the surrounding piers.

NEEDED:
Divers
Shore Support

Divers should be comfortable in low visibility.
Bring a cutting tool and a collection bag (if you own them).
Shore support bring jackets, boots that you can get wet in, gloves, cutting tool.
(there will be extra gloves and cutting tools)

When - Saturday, April 4th

Cleanup Site: Willard Wyatt Park / Davies Beach
Arrive: 8:00 AM
Mandatory Briefing: 8:30 AM
Dive: 9 AM - 11 AM

Parking: in the boat launch area
Overflow cars will be given passes to park in the upper lot.

The pier will be closed to fishing for the cleanup between 8am and 12pm.

Non-Divers are welcome. Bring gloves and a cutting tool to help from shore.
Bring warm jacket!

Free Air Fills for the dive/s!
Snacks will be provided.

Lake features you should be aware of:

It's fresh water. You will need to take off between 5-10lbs. I will have plenty of extra weights for divers to grab if they find themselves too light once in the water. But don't be afraid to take the weight out!

It's silty and may have milfoil growth. Try to stay off the ground as much as possible. Once the silt is kicked up it tends to hang around lowering the visibility.

May get dark if it does silt up. Bring a dive light just in case.

The temperature is probably high 50s or low 60s. Still cold. You will need all your normal exposure protection!

Try To Bring: Collection bag, gloves, cutting tool, dive light

We Will Bring: Extra weights, extra collection bags, cutting tools, gloves

Parking - I will place barriers around the boat launch area which we can park in if we leave space for emergency vehicles. There is also a lot across the street. The city and police know we will be there, we do not need to pay for parking.

Bathrooms - there is a public bathroom on site.

Shore Support - We'll have shore support watching bubbles. You can hand trash off to us, ask for assistance, ask for weights etc.
