Loyalsock Trail backpacking ~60 miles, ~12k elevation gain

I’m planning this trip over a four-day weekend, including Monday (Columbus Day/Indigenous Peoples’ Day), which should be right around peak foliage for this stunning landscape. You’ll need to be physically and mentally fit, with light or ultralight camping gear. This is not a beginner-friendly trip ! *If I never backpacked with you before, I would like to know what gears you will be packing and pack base weight *

Plan:

We will meet at Friday 10:00 AM at eastern terminus - Loyalsock Trailhead Dutchman Falls (gps: 41.44851, -76.45340), then shuttle/drive ~45 minutes to the other end - Loyalsock Trailhead (41.36346, -76.87744) and hike eastward, finishing Monday morning. Afterward, we may go for some food at a local place.

The approximate TBD splits will be 10/20/20/10 miles (lot elevation changes).
