Celebrate Diwali hiker style!! (Park at West Meadow Picnic Area, $6 entry fee)

Diwali is the Indian festival of lights. Start with a hike at woodsy Huddart Park, and then stay for a potluck picnic! There'll be plenty of food, delicious Indian sweets, good company, and warm cardamom tea that will be served all afternoon!

This event is open to EVERYONE; you should join whether you celebrate Diwali or not! We plan to have hike+picnics around major holidays throughout the year.

You can come just to the hike or just to the picnic, or attend both. Your call!

Use this signup sheet for the potluck. Please bring vegetarian dishes only; and avoid nuts and other common allergens.

• 10:00 AM Meet at Huddart Park (West Meadow Picnic Area (see map))

• 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM picnic (near the parking area)
