[Shaded Hike] Hamms Gulch Trail to Windy Hill

Come spend Saturday in Windy Hill Open Space Preserve. This is a moderate hike with gradual inclines and beautiful views from the top.

We can have a simple picnic in the picnic area near Skyline Blvd.

Meeting place: At the trailhead. This is near the intersection of Alpine Road and Willowbrook Drive.

Restrooms: at the picnic area on Skyline Blvd.

Parking is limited right at the trailhead, but plenty of spillover parking is available on nearby Willowbrook Drive.

We'll meet at 9 AM and start the hike at 9:15 AM sharp. Latecomers will have to catch up on their own.

Note: Dog Policy

Dogs are permitted on some trails in Windy Hill Open Space Preserve. From the website, dogs are permitted on the following:

• Windy Hill Open Space Preserve – Spring Ridge, Betsy Crowder, Sequoias, Eagle, Meadow, Hamms Gulch and Anniversary Trails ONLY; Lost Trail ONLY between Anniversary and Hamms Gulch Trails

The AllTrails link says that dogs are not permitted, but the official website says they are.

Dogs MUST be leashed at all times. No exceptions.
