Help Choose Where SkyFall Lands on Mars!
Details
NASA is preparing to send three SkyFall helicopters to Mars—and people outside NASA can help identify scientifically valuable places for them to land and explore.
Individuals and self-organized teams may submit candidate landing sites by December 1, 2026. This isn’t a casual public vote: a submission must identify coordinates, reference suitable HiRISE imagery, satisfy important engineering constraints, and explain how SkyFall’s instruments could advance Mars science.
We'll explore...
* What the SkyFall helicopters will investigate
* NASA’s five promising starting regions
* What makes a location safe and scientifically useful
* What a landing-site proposal must include
* How interested viewers might participate individually or as a team
