Sketchbook Meet & Greet at Philz Lafayette

We’re kicking off our drawing group with a relaxed sketchbook meet & greet at Philz Coffee in Lafayette. Whether you're a seasoned sketchbook keeper or new to drawing, this will be a fun, low-pressure opportunity to meet fellow artists, share your work, and enjoy a Philz beverage.

Here’s what you can expect:

• Time to connect, chat, and share your sketchbooks with others.
• An opportunity to doodle and sketch in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
• Don’t have a sketchbook yet? No problem! I recommend picking one up at Michael’s (they often have online coupons—just search for "Michael’s coupon"). I’ll also have some extra paper and drawing materials available if you don’t have one yet. Feel free to bring whatever you feel comfortable drawing with.

Sketching Prompts to Get Us Started:

• Draw the beverage you’re drinking.
• Sketch a building or the scene around you.
• Draw someone from the group (or a quick self-portrait. Make sure to bring a small mirror for this).
• I’ll also bring a few objects for still life sketching for us to dive into as well
