Fall Cleanup - West Springfield Levee!

Folks most of the archery is over for the year, but I have been supporting this event for several years. There is a big homeless area near the river and the pickings are good. This area will flood in the spring so all the trash will go into the river if we don't act now. Here are the details, everyone is welcome.

Fall Cleanup - West Springfield Levee!

When: Sunday November 16th 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
Where: The entrance to the levee is across from Heywood and Allston Ave. (Drive over the curb and park on the grass, right on the side street.)
This is a fun day to get outside with your community! While we have made a solid dent with cleanup efforts in the past, the levee is long, and there's always somewhere we did not get to. We will work with partners or small groups, and we will provide gloves, bags, grabbers and light snacks. You should bring your own reusable water bottle, we will provide water for refilling. It' a great opportunity for schools, clubs, teams and local businesses to make a difference! All ages are welcome, under 18 with a guardian.
