A new high-speed rail system is coming to connect Southern California with Las Vegas, reducing travel time in half. The estimated 35,000 construction jobs and eventually more than 1,000 permanent jobs created from this project are only part of the story.

This informational webinar (not a sales pitch) explores the many upcoming opportunities for those involved in commercial real estate around the country. (Let's face it. This won't be happening in the Chicago area any time soon.)

Developers and builders will be looking to acquire and build on commercial and residential land. Lenders and investors will have funding opportunities. Contractors will be needed for construction and renovation projects in addition to the train line. Brokers will have residential and commercial homes, offices, retail, and industrial opportunities to sell or lease. Temporary housing will be needed for project workers. Attorneys and researchers will have opportunities for zoning, marketing, and generating tax advantages for developers and investors. These ‘all electric’ zero emission trains also invites solar and environmental companies to participate.

Projections indicate having more than 9,000,000 one-way passengers annually, many of which will be receptive to adjacent shopping and dining opportunities. Some regular passengers and employees may wish to live nearby for convenience. Supporting transportation hubs may be needed to get passengers to and from.
