Come ride with us! Our beginner and intermediate bike rides are sponsored by a local independent bike sales and repair center in Rockville--EvoCycleworks on Taft Street, specializing in a large variety of bikes including e-bikes and services that work for you!
We sponsor weekly fun and casual rides for cyclists who like to ride on trails or low-traffic roads around Rockville, Olney and local areas. Riders need to wear a helmet. Our ride pace is average 10 mph (7-8 on uphills, faster on downhills). Our rides will be led by experienced ride leaders who will encourage both safety and fun. We ride together so no one is "dropped." We plan a wide variety of rides for those who prefer trails and those who like road riding. Please make sure you read the ride description to make sure the ride is for you.
Most rides are between 10-25 miles, and we end a lot of rides with an optional group lunch. We never mind answering questions for beginners. We hope you join our next ride.
By riding with us on Meetup - Evo Cycling Rockville Rides, you agree that cycling involves risks and dangers including injury, paralysis and death and that you agree to indemnify and save and hold harmless the Sponsor (EvoCycleworks) from all liability, claims, demands, losses or damages on your account caused or alleged to be caused in whole or part of the negligence of the Ride Leader or others in the Meetup Ride.

This is by far the most beautiful part of the canal. Come out and enjoy.
For safety reasons, this event is limited to 20 riders. The surface is gravelly. 
Join us for a social 12 or 16 mile ride. Typically we bike for 55 minutes in one direction then turn around and come back so this makes it easy for individuals that want to be at a slower pace since we will all end up back at the starting point together (Hopefully).
This event is crossed with Mid-Atlantic Outdoors Meet Up group.
Chronic No-Showers or Serial Sign-uppers need not to sign up for this event as you will be moved to not going.

The ride will start and end at Vine Alley and bike to several local pubs/breweries including Clear Skies Meadery.
This ride will be approximately 20 miles of road riding stopping every few miles to visit a pub/brewery.

• You MUST bring water, cell phone, ID card, and cash or credit card for emergencies.
Must have a profile picture of yourself in order to do the bike ride. This is a requirement.
