Curious about languages? Join us for a friendly beginner-friendly meetup where we’ll explore Esperanto, the easy-to-learn international language designed to bring people together.
☕ We’ll chat in simple Esperanto (no prior knowledge needed).
📖 We’ll read Hans Christian Andersen’s classic fairy tale “The Little Match Girl” in Esperanto — side-by-side with English.
💬 We’ll discuss how Esperanto works and why polyglots and curious learners around the world use it as a gateway language.

Everyone welcome — especially if you’ve never studied Esperanto before! Just bring your curiosity and love of languages.
⚠️ Accessibility Note: Please note that Qahwah House is not wheelchair accessible. The main seating area is on the second floor, reachable only by stairs. The men’s bathroom is in the basement, also down a flight of stairs.
