Join Evolving Lingvo NYC for a relaxed Esperanto conversation meetup on Saturday, October 17 at 12:00 PM in the Financial District.
Esperanto is an international language created to make communication across language backgrounds easier. This gathering is a chance to hear the language used in person, practice what you know, ask questions, and meet other people who enjoy learning and using languages.
You are welcome if you:
- already speak Esperanto
- are currently learning it
- enjoy linguistics or constructed languages
- study or speak multiple languages
- are curious about international language communities
- simply want to try something different
You do not need any previous knowledge of Esperanto to attend.
This is an informal social gathering rather than a class or structured language exchange. Conversation may move between Esperanto and English, and newcomers are welcome to listen, ask questions, learn a few words, or participate at their own level.

We will be seated inside the café. Look for a small Esperanto flag and some Esperanto books. If you have trouble finding the group, message the organizer through Meetup.

All levels are welcome, including complete beginners. Come practice a language, meet fellow language enthusiasts, and spend a relaxed Saturday afternoon with us.
