What is Plug and Play: We are accelerating entrepreneurial companies in the San Diego area, increasing their access to the dynamic resources of Silicon Valley and San Diego, and increasing the chances of commercial success. This program creates a bridge for San Diego startups to Silicon Valley to technology leaders who intend to co-invest in early high-tech companies, accelerate their growth and provide them with a direct route to success.

When: Applications are due Nov. 22 and the pitch event takes place Dec. 3

Startups that are selected at the Dec. 3 pitch event will receive an investment of $25,000 (for a 5% equity stake) and then travel to Silicon Valley for the 3-month StartupCamp program. Startups receive free space and mentorship at Plug and Play Tech Center in Sunnyvale. The program culminates in an EXPO event where you will pitch to over 200 investors.

The last group of San Diego StartupCamp participants have already raised over $2.5 million!

There is no limit to the number of startups selected to receive an immediate $25,000 and travel to Silicon Valley in early 2014 to participate in StartupCamp and pitch in a EXPO event before more than 200 investors!!
