Adam Fifoot
Adam Joined the RAF in 1983 and completed a number of UK and overseas tours over a 12 year career with a last posting as a VIP steward at RAF Strike Command in High Wycombe. Adam has over 20 years’ in HR, resource management and recruitment experience, initially recruitment agency side, before moving in-house where he delivered assignments for; Cable & Wireless, Nortel, Classic FM (GWR) and Experian. Adam is currently a self-employed consultant working on an HR project for a global financial services firm where he is a member of their Veterans network and until recently (pre-lockdown) an active member of the City Veterans Network.

Andrea Dunlop
Andrea Dunlop is the Managing Director of the Payment Division at The Access Group, an angel investor and non-executive Director. She is also a co-founder of InvestFem.

Andrea is highly-regarded in the payments industry; she has been recognised with numerous industry awards including being named one of the ‘Most Influential Women in Payments in 2018’, and appearing in Payments Power 10, a list of the top ten influential contributors to the payments industry in 2016/17/18/19.

Karl Simons
Karl is a proud dad, loving husband, loyal son, hard-working employee, interesting university lecturer, mental health campaigner and curious radio presenter.

With a background in HM Armed Forces and has served in multiple conflicts, Karl is presently the Chief Health, Safety & Security Officer at Thames Water. He has 30 years of employment experience, having worked across all continents and numerous safety-critical industries including oil, gas, minerals, rail, roads, construction and utilities.

Joanne Hitchmough
Joanne was born in Pontypool, South Wales and also grew up there, she studied catering at college when she left school and joined the Army at 17 years old as a chef in November 1990. Joanne completed a number of overseas tours and exercise over her 30 year career and finished her service as a recruiter with 203 (Welsh) Field Hospital in Cardiff.

Alan Hewitt
Alan is an RAF Aerospace Systems Operator, turned engineer, who transitioned to operational leadership in significant growth businesses such as Global Crossing, Level 3 and OneWeb. Alan has spent over 25 years building telecommunication networks with a special focus on creating high performing teams to support significant operational networks. Specifically at OneWeb, as the first UK employee responsibility for leading the Network Operations Centre, Alan built the global operations centre, and most recently, the team who now have responsibility for OneWeb’s global network.
