What we’re about

* Important Info -- added 6/14/20 *  If you've had an experience with a local Ex-Mormon where you did not feel safe, or your boundaries were not respected, please reach out. You are not alone. Our goal is to encourage, equip and empower exmo women. We are stronger together. __________________________________________________

A Relief Society the way it should have been from the beginning—with women calling all the shots, and zero sister wives!

We’re creating this group as a safe and empowering place for exmormon women to find support and community, let their hair down, live it up, and learn relevant life skills together. Let’s link arms and figure out how to live the beautiful exmo lives our mothers always warned us about!

A lot of our events are outdoor pool and bonfire parties. We do themed evenings such as wine and cheese tastings, R-rated movie nights, craft nights, liquor tastings, and no-stress “come as you are” hang-outs—as well as large annual Festivus and Pie & Beer Day celebrations. We love to facilitate discussions around sexual health, wholehearted living, faith-free parenting, safe real world dating practices, healing family relationships, letting go of who you thought you were supposed to be, etc....

Most in-person gatherings are currently held in Fairfax County, VA, but we can schedule events anywhere in VA, DC or MD that group members are excited about.

Misogyny, MLMs, carrying multiple folding chairs, and those parties where everyone brings a soup are STRICTLY PROHIBITED. :)

All group members will be verified and locations kept private.

If you are an exmormon (or honorary exmo) who identifies as a woman, as gender non-conforming, or non-binary, you belong. We can’t wait to meet you.
