Pennsylvania Clean Energy Policy Happy Hour!

Pennsylvania voters just elected a state House, state Senate, and governor that are all friendly to clean energy, which opens the door to passing policies that have been stalled in Harrisburg for years! But many people who care about clean energy aren’t sure what’s actually on the table, or what they can do to help it move forward.

Exact Solar and PennEnvironment would love to invite you to join us for an informal happy hour to help! Anyone interested in clean energy is welcome, whether you’re a longtime advocate or someone totally new to the space who found this page and wants to learn more about how we get more of Pennsylvania running on clean energy!

No background in solar or policy is needed.

What we’ll talk about

Belle Sherwood of PennEnvironment will walk through the state legislation that could expand access to solar in Pennsylvania, and explain where advocates can make the biggest difference in the months ahead.

Aaron Nichols and Jenna Dunne from Exact Solar will share how homeowners, nonprofits, schools, and townships in Pennsylvania have benefited from going solar, and offer practical talking points you can use when you bring up solar with neighbors, your workplace, township officials, your church, etc.

After that, we’ll open it up for questions and conversation. This is a casual gathering, so come curious and bring your ideas.

Beer, Wine, and snacks will be provided.
