I first did the Ohio to Erie trail (OTET in 2021, which is really 22 trails that take you across the state. I did it just to get another 300 plus miles for the year but I found the Ohio network to be amazing. This will be my 5th time doing it!
So let’s bike the Ohio to Erie Trail. If not on your bucket list yet, it will be! A virtually undiscovered gem.
We saw this trip priced at over $3,000 by more than one tour provider and said hey let's see if we can do more affordably for 12 to 25 meetup cool kids"! $1,950 double occupancy. Single occupancy add $995. Non rider $1,100.
This scenic 326-mile trail links the Ohio River to Lake Erie, primarily on rail trails and canal paths. It traverses four major cities, numerous quaint small towns and miles of pastoral countryside. Do it before more and more people learn of it and add it to their bucket list! This trail can be done on a road bike as it is paved until the 20th of the 20 trails. The last section is finely packed limestone. For that section 28mm tires are ok, but it’s better to have 30mm+.

Have a fun ride at your own pace and leave the hotel whenever you wish. Hopefully this is a vacation! There is no mass start. Most riders leave between 7-9am. Relax and take your time, since SAG vehicles stay out until the last rider finishes. Rider's average speed on our tours range from 9-20mph, so there's always someone to ride with if you wish. We encourage riders to take their time, stop at see the sights, and take in a bakery or 3. We have several local Ohio Meetup friends who will ride sections with us.Note if you do not need a hotel in afterwards in Cleveland we can reduce $135 assuming your roommate (if any) does not need a room. Reduction is $270 per room In Cin or Cle, so savings of $135 if double occupancy,

Join Sandy Feet Kayak Adventures on this beautiful paddle out of Hammock park ..this is an easier paddle with three options, 1, 2 or 3 miles total but keep in mind that the open waters can bring wind and currents.
There are islands that we will be stopping at for refreshments so bring something for yourself to enjoy... The kayak launch is behind the little church and Butterfly Garden by playground on the right side of the road..
Your Feet Will Get Wet....many swim or wade at beach.

🌴Bring plenty of water, sunblock, bug spray, water shoes, lunch/snacks, beach towel, and change of clothing if needed... There are restrooms at the kayak launch but not on deserted island. Date and time may change due to weather. If you just rsvp here that does NOT get you in.
Some folks may kayak 4 miles some less. 4 miles might be easy for someone experienced or in great shape, but next to impossible if not experienced or in poor shape. It is out and back so if you get tired you may turn around and go back, but tell the group you are doing that. So you can do 1, 2, 3 miles or whatever you are up for that day.
NEW POLICY All rentals must pay online with credit card at FAREHARBOR link. You are not guaranteed a spot or a kayak unless you have paid there.
First come first served. We trailer in boats for PAID and CONFIRMED reservations, there is no company onsite. Own equipment may pay $10 event fee at event or at FAREHARBOR.

- $37.50 includes (Perception Standard single kayak, paddle, pfd, and event fee) pay in advance @FAREHARBOR link
- $49.50 includes (ENJOY KAYAK single kayak with captain chair, paddle, pfd, and event fee) pay in advance online,
- $69.50 includes (tandem (double) kayak, paddle, pfd, and event fee) pay in advance,

If YOU cancel more than 72hrs before event= full refund Cancel within 48 and 72 hours hrs before event credit towards your next RSVP Cancel with less than 48 hours no refunds or credit, Regarding weather we will cancel for lightning or severe wind. We do not cancel for a summer shower. It's Florida.

• Important to know
Please get there 10-15 minutes early to set up, as the paddle will start punctually. Don't cluster at ramp. Parking is small, be early in case you have to walk or use bathrooms. Help setting up at beginning or packing up at end of paddle is greatly appreciated.This is by Butterfly Garden and playground not baseball fields side of park. Come early lot will fill. Allow time to walk if you have to park down street. Restrooms are available at launch. If bringing your own kayak Paul will help you get it to launch just ask.
